World-renowned classic from 1977 in a sleek new nickel finish

Since Italian architect and interior designer Vico Magistretti designed the Atollo table lamp back in 1977, this particular model has been the archetype of the classic designer table lamp. As early as 1979, the lamp won the Compasso d'Oro design award and has since been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Kunstgewerbe Museum in Zurich and the Museum Für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg, among others.

Atollo is a beautiful display of simple, geometric shapes that blend beautifully with each other. The cylindrical base provides stability, while the cone-shaped tip creates a perfect balance point for the hemispherical shade. Through the distinctive minimalist and form-oriented expression of the Atollo table lamp, Magistretti has gone ahead of its time with this beautiful creation, whose monochrome, metallic surface emphasizes its stylish simplicity. So far, the lamp has been available in white, black, gold and bronze. Now, however, it is also available in a shiny nickel finish with an ultra-modern look that beautifully complements the minimalist design.

The lamp is equipped with two standard sockets located under the shade. As the shade is made of metal, the light does not escape but is directed towards the light outlet at the bottom, creating an effective downlight that also focuses on the beautifully shaped base. The hemispherical shape of the shade prevents the light from glaring out to the sides, ensuring direct light but in a pleasant quality.

Atollo Table Lamp comes in three versions: 238 Small, 239 Medium and 233 Large. Model 238 has a regular push switch, while the switch on model 239 and 233 has a built-in dimming function that allows you to adjust the brightness to provide the right light for any occasion, any time and any purpose. With a height and diameter of 70x50 cm, the large version also works well as a floor lamp.
