Enigma

Enigma 425 was created by the Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama in 2003. Uchiyama presented his concept of a floating shade on ultra-thin wires to Louis Poulsen, who admired the transparency and lightness of the design. The Enigma was a perfect manifestation of Louis Poulsen’s product philosophy and offered a new interpretation of the multiple-shade design - Japanese grace combined with Scandinavian simplicity. The name, Enigma, refers to the enigmatic quality of the seemingly floating shades when the lamp is on and viewed from a distance.

The Enigma Pendulum produces a soft, high-quality light without glare. The lighting is unique thanks to the sculptural characteristics of the lamp. Choose between models 424, 545 and 825.
