AJ from Louis Poulsen is a popular lamp collection for bedrooms. The collection was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 and is a true design classic. Both AJ Table and AJ Wall are popular with our lovely clients.

If you want a contrast with your white walls, AJ Wall in black is a beautiful choice. If you prefer a colourful touch, you can choose from one of the 10 different shades, the most popular of which are Graphite Grey, Light Grey, Night Blue, and Aubergine. AJ in black is one of our bestsellers.

AJ is an obvious choice for a reading lamp since its head can be raised and lowered, and angled from side to side through 60 degrees. It’s a classic and functional designer lamp for your bedroom.

The AJ Table works extremely well on a bedside table. It’s an easy option since there’s no mounting involved and you can use the table lamp elsewhere in your home.

Another popular lamp for the bedroom is Tolomeo. Artemide’s Tolomeo Table Lamp from 1987 is one of the world’s most popular table lamps and is a frontrunner in design, light output, convenience and aesthetics.

One reason for Tolomeo’s popularity is the flexibility built into its fully adjustable body. That gives you total control over the light and makes Tolomeo incredibly useful in the bedroom. Because of its long arm, Tolomeo is especially handy if you have an adjustable bed.
Here you can see a Tolomeo Wall Lamp in black, and it’s clear to see that it’s an extremely flexible and useful lamp. It has a gorgeous design and provides excellent light for reading.

It’s available with either a base or installation hardware so you can use it on a table or mount it on the wall. It also comes in a range of sizes and colours - the Tolomeo series is bound to have just the lamp to meet your needs.

Lampe Gras is another popular lamp for the bedroom. Available in a huge number of variations – floor, wall, pendant or table; on a base or mounted on the wall or ceiling – Lampe Gras can do it all. The colour choice is also broad so the possibilities are endless – just one of the reasons that Lampe Gras is so desirable.

Lampe Gras is a 20th century icon. In 1922 Bernard-Albin Gras designed a range of lamps for use in offices and industry. The Gras lamp, as it later came to be known, was completely unique with its simple, robust and ergonomic design.
Benjiro Table Lamp White/Chrome from Lindby is a functional and elegant design that looks stunning in most styles of décor. The modern table lamp has an elegant, glossy metal frame complimented by the white fabric lampshade. The table lamp also features a small extra lamp, which you can adjust to suit your needs. Benjiro is the perfect bedroom lamp thanks to this extra light source, which ensures a more direct and focused light, which is perfect for reading. Meanwhile the bigger lampshade has a soft and diffuse light that’s perfect for winding down before bed or waking up in the morning. The switch is placed under the lampshade, so it’s easy to turn on the light you need at any given moment.
Kesta Table Lamp Black/Gold from Lindby is a simple and decorative design that looks stunning in all styles of décor. The lamp has a minimalist expression thanks to its slender frame and thin cylindrical fabric lampshade with a matte black exterior and golden interior that emits a soft, warm glow perfect for sleeping, waking up, and reading. Kesta is a highly aesthetic table lamp whether it’s on or not because it’s both a functional light source and a decorative addition to your bedroom.
Kalinda Wall Lamp Grey/Oak from Lucande has a humble size and simple, aesthetic design that makes it perfect for all styles of décor from modern to classic and from minimalist to retro. The lamp is made of solid concrete with stunning wood and metal details that create a beautiful contrast, making the wall lamp a decorative element and a functional light source for your bedroom. The wall lamp creates a soft warm white downlight with a cosy and comfortable effect that makes your bedroom a warm and pleasant place to be.
Charlia Floor Lamp Silver from Lindby is a minimalist and stylish design with three long legs in a natural wooden material and an exquisite white cylindrical lampshade that ensures a classic contrast perfect for any style of décor. The white lampshade conceals a single light source that casts a soft and comfortable up- and downlight, creating a cosy and relaxed atmosphere that makes Charlia perfect for bedrooms. The lamp’s harmonious aesthetic also means that it serves as both a light source and a decorative element that bathes your bedroom in a lovely glow.
The basic form doesn’t use screws or welded joints, adding to the lamp’s distinctiveness. The long arm and body make the lamp especially functional and flexible. The applications are many, and we see these lamps used in every room of the house.

Bernard-Albin Gras’ visionary design has proven to be timeless, and today Lampe Gras lamps are sought-out collectors’ items - particularly in France, the USA and Japan.

Ceiling lamps for the bedroom – which one to choose?

Ceiling lamps for the bedroom – which one to choose?

We carry a wide selection of ceiling lamps for the bedroom, but which one is the right one for your bedroom? We’ve got a few suggestions, and the first one is Hope from Luceplan. If you’re looking for a romantic bedroom lamp, then Hope is the ceiling lamp for you. It multiplies light and creates a glittering, soothing and comfortable light, sprinkling the room with thousands of tiny lights like diamonds. In fact, that’s the inspiration for the lamp’s name: Hope.

The entire Hope series is incredibly popular, largely down to its visual lightness and choice of materials. Hope is made of polycarbonate petal-like panels. These panels are actually Fresnel lenses, which optimise the reflection and fragmentation of light – they create the special light effects while reducing energy use. This is simply a gorgeous, finely-detailed design lamp.
Sebatin Ceiling Lamp Grey/White/Nickel from Lindby radiates elegance and simplicity that looks stunning in the bedroom whether the lamp is on or not. The ceiling lamp consists of a slender metal frame surrounded by a fabric lampshade in a lovely grey hue that lets out a beautiful light. The lamp features an LED light source concealed behind a matte lampshade that distributes the light in a soft, uniform, glare-free way. Furthermore, the light is 3000 Kelvin, which emits a warm white light that contributes to the cosy and relaxed atmosphere that makes your bedroom a pleasant place to be.

You can get the design in various shapes and sizes. Find them here!
Another romantic ceiling lamp – one of our favourites, in fact – is the beautiful Caboche. The lamp is transparent and made of small acrylic globes, and the internal shade is made of sandblasted opal glass. The globes are placed around the outside of the lamp and refract light like tiny drops of water in the sun. Along with the opalised shade, these globes mean that this lamp will never produce glare.

The Caboche ceiling lamp provides beautiful light, and with its 120W halogen bulb it puts out enough light to illuminate the whole room.

If your decorating tastes tend towards the minimalist and stylish, check out Being from Philips Hue. It’s great for the hall, home office or the bedroom – places where you can get maximum use out of all the special features Philips Hue lamps have.

Ceiling lamps project light both directly downwards and laterally out to the sides. The lateral light bounces off the ceiling and then down and out into the room.

Being comes with a White Ambiance light source, which means that is provides a white light that you can adjust depending on whether you want cool or warm illumination. In addition to adjusting the light temperature, you can also dim Being to control light intensity. You make all of these adjustments via your Hue app or the remote control that comes with the lamp – Being makes it incredibly easy to get exactly the lighting you want.
