Terms & conditions
By placing an order on this website, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions. Therefore, we recommend that you read these conditions thoroughly before you place your order.
Please note that delivery times are guidelines based on estimated delivery times that we receive from the relevant suppliers. Occasionally individual products are temporarily on back order which can create delays; this applies particularly to suppliers based abroad. We will contact you with expected delivery times as soon as they become available.
Because of their fragility and/or size, some products need to be shipped on a wooden pallet. Pallets can not be delivered to a parcel shop – only to a private or business address. Someone must also be present to receive and sign for the delivery.
The driver will deliver the pallet to the curb. Please make sure that the driver can easily reach the delivery location. The pallet needs to be unloaded on to a solid surface – not grass or gravel as this can potentially damage the items on the pallet.
Purchase of products
When you have chosen the products you want and put them in your shopping basket you will be asked to provide personal information including your name, address and payment information. Once you have done that and placed your order we will send you a confirmation via e-mail. Please note that this is not your final order confirmation.
You will also receive a unique link that allows you to check on the status of your order, including estimated delivery dates.
When your payment is approved and your order has been registered in our warehouse you will receive a final email confirmation including a personal tracking number that you can use to trace your order as well a final invoice. Lampmasters.ie will not charge you for your order until it leaves our warehouse.

At Lampmasters.ie we accept payment via VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and American Express as well as Dankort/eDankort (DK only) and various mobile payment solutions (DK, NO & SE only). Your payment won’t be charged to your card until your order leaves our warehouse. All prices at Lampmasters.ie are in Euro and include 25% Danish VAT.
We accept PayPal.
It is also possible to pay via bank transfer. We will ship your order as soon as your payment is registered in our system.
At Lampmasters we collect and use various information about you in connection with your purchase from us.

Lampmasters.ie uses a logging system to collect information that gives us a statistical picture of how many visitors we have, where they come from, which pages they view, etc. This information is only used to optimise Lampmasters.ie.
Terms of trade
We deliver world-wide and we ship via Postnord, GLS and DSV. We offer free shipping within the EU on orders of €99 or more. For orders of less than €99 within the EU the shipping charge is €12. All other shipping charges are calculated according to delivery address. Delivery time also depends on delivery address, as well as whether or not the product is in stock in your desired colour/variant.
Special orders can increase delivery time – you can find information about expected production time in the individual product descriptions. We will provide an estimated delivery date when you place your order, and if for some reason that date cannot be met you will be contacted as soon as possible by Edison, our automated mail system. You can always check your order status via the link you received after placing your order.
We ship the majority of our merchandise via parcel post. This makes it possible to track packages if problems develop or delays occur. Some products – because of their size, weight or fragility – are sent on wooden pallets. Lampmasters.ie is not responsible for delays caused by shipping companies.
Please inspect the contents of your package as soon as it arrives, before the product is installed. Make sure that you have received the correct product, undamaged, and that there is nothing missing from the shipment. If you do not do this within a reasonable amount of time (two days) after delivery, Lampmasters.ie cannot be held responsible for any damage.
If the package and/or its contents are damaged at the time of delivery you should open a claim via the unique link you received after you placed your order – just click on ‘Claim’ at the bottom of the status page and following the instructions. You’ll need photos of both the external and internal packaging – including the shipping label – as well as the damage itself.
Lampmasters.ie is not responsible for products damaged during transport. We always pack your order with great care to minimize any possible shipping damage.
Købeloven (the ‘Purchase Law’ in Denmark) may apply in the case of inadequate compliance with regulations. (§8, part 1, nr. 14)
For shipments outside the EU, please be aware that your order may be delayed while clearing customs and that we are not responsible for customs-related delays. You are responsible for any customs duties or import fees.
You can return your purchase to Lampmasters.ie within 100 days of delivery. To open a return just use the unique link you received after placing your order. Click on ‘Return’ at the bottom of the status page and follow the instructions. Shortly you’ll receive a return shipping label, the price of which will be deducted from your refund.
Please remember to return the merchandise in its original, undamaged packaging. Avoid writing on the packaging and unnecessary use of tape, and always get a shipping receipt. Incorrect packaging and packing can cause damage during transport, and that can result in us rescinding your right of return so please be careful. Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have about shipping.
Please send your order back to us as quickly as possible, at most 14 days after you have informed us that you would like to make a return.
If you have ordered a lamp and chosen a free bulb/light source, or if the light source was included by the manufacturer of the lamp, then the light source must be returned when you return the lamp.
If you do not include the light source when you return the lamp, you will be charged for the light source.
For example, if you bought a lamp that costs €300 and chose a free bulb with a value of €10, you will only be refunded €290 unless you return the bulb.
Remember that you are responsible for the direct costs of returning any merchandise.
You are also responsible for the merchandise from the moment you accept delivery. If it has been installed/mounted or if there is any wear-and-tear or damage we reserve the right to refuse the return.

We recommend that you send the return via parcel post. This makes is easy to track the package and find out whether or not it has been delivered to Lampmasters.ie. In certain situations – such as particularly large, heavy or awkward products or large order quantities – parcel post isn’t the best choice. In that case you are welcome to contact us regarding our other shipping partners and price estimates. Returns sent COD or with insufficient postage will be refused.
NB! Please return the package to Lampemesteren’s address – if it is returned to a parcel shop or post office it will not be collected.
When we have received the product and approved the return we will refund the purchase as quickly as possible in accordance with Forbrugeraftaleloven (the ‘Consumer Contract Law’ in Denmark) §21, parts 3 & 4. We will only refund the payment method used to make the purchase in order to prevent the use of stolen credit/debit cards. In the case of a bank transfer please include all relevant account numbers, sort codes, etc. Please save your postal receipt as proof of shipment.
Once again, you are responsible for the cost of returning merchandise.

If you are a resident of an EU country other than Denmark, you can lodge a complaint via the EU Commission’s online complaint portal - http://ec.europa.eu/odr
When a consumer uses a product, that product depreciates or decreases in value. If you use a product beyond what is normally accepted and that product depreciates, Lampmasters.ie has the right to reduce the amount refunded when the product is returned. The depreciation is the difference between the original purchase price and the market price that we can charge when we resell the product after it has been returned. The market price is the products value in an ordinary retail transaction between our webshop and a consumer, and not between our webshop and another webshop or between two consumers.
In certain situations, use of the product means that it can no longer be resold. In that case you lose the right to be refunded for returning that product.
Packaging can play a role in depreciation. Opened, damaged or lost packaging can decrease a products value. If the condition of the packaging affects resale of the product the cost of new packaging will be deducted from your refund.

All merchandise is covered by Købelovens (Purchase Law) rules about the 24-month right of claim. This right of claim means that you can make a claim about any defects that arise within 24 months from the time of purchase. The right of claim does not apply when the defect arises because of improper use, lack of maintenance or everyday wear-and-tear.

In the case of a valid claim we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs.Please send the product to:

Lampemesteren does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions on this website, sold out products, delivery changes made by our suppliers or any delays beyond our control.
We reserve the right to change information, prices and descriptions of any goods and products at any time and without notice.
We also reserve the right to refuse orders where quantity discounts, customer club cards and discount codes are applied together.
Our gift cards can be used to purchase any of our products. The cards are issued without names, so they make ideal gifts.
Gift cards are valid for three years from the date of purchase. They cannot be exchanged for cash. If you change your mind about a gift card it can be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Amounts under €10 will be refunded via bank transfer.
Discount codes and other discounts cannot be combined with a customer club card or used on already discounted products. Please note that discount codes and other discounts cannot be applied to Philips Hue products.
