When Le Corbusier originally sat down in his design studio to design the Parliament Floor Lamp Grey/White, the lamp was intended for the Parliament in Chandigarh, the capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana in India. The smart lamp had to confidently illuminate official documents and signatures on desks, and the large, adjustable lampshade has ensured that this task was accomplished to perfection.
Many years have passed since then - but the beautiful Parliament is just as practical and elegant as it was when it was first designed.
