FM 1954 Pendant Lamp Ø41 Matt White is timeless expression from an unforgettable form, and Scandinavian design history from the absolute top shelf. The lamp was designed by the legendary architectural firm Friis & Moltke, and was the start of an architectural adventure that resulted in one of the most respected architectural firms and design studios in the world.
The beautiful pendant lamp uses a round lampshade that protects the viewer from glare, which is mounted on three pegs that go to the light source and hold the lamp. The overall look is minimalistic - which is why the lamp is just as beautiful today as it was when it was introduced in 1954.
The series includes three sizes as well as two colours. Later, the FM lamp reappeared, but this time as a 2014 model that is thinner, but otherwise carries the same expression as the original 1954.
