Each ring is made from aluminium and has a sleek black surface finish on the outside, while a band of LED lights runs along the inside. The light sources are shielded by a silicone coating, so the light appears very soft and homogeneous.
As an added bonus, the light intensity can be regulated via the standard wall switch. This function has three settings so that the lamp shines at 100%, 60% or 10% of its full brightness.
