Public demand soon followed, and when Winston Churchill personally chose his Bestlite BL1 table lamp for his desk, the lamp’s iconic status was secured.
The Bestlite design remains closely tied to its industrial roots. The lamps are on permanent display at the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London.
Throughout their long history, Bestlite lamps have been cherished by architects, designers and design enthusiasts alike, and remain modern classics to this day.
