°3 CONCRETE PRIMARY SHAPE wall light, red, concrete, G9 - Serax

The Primary Shape Cylinder wall light was designed by architect Thijs Prinsen for Serax and captivates with its minimalist design language and the distinctive character of dark red-coloured concrete. The cylindrical body of the light reduces the design to its essentials and places the natural texture of the material centre stage. The striking surface gives the light an authentic, architectural presence, whilst the softly diffused light creates an atmospheric yet pleasant ambience.

The light is part of the Primary Shape collection, which emerged from a fascination with simple geometric shapes and honest materials. Inspired by a renovation project using reused bricks, Thijs Prinsen developed a series of lights that combine architectural clarity with artisanal materiality. Concrete is used not only as a material but also as a design element, lending each design its own individual character.
