Lantern

East and west come together in this wonderful collection of versatile lamps, each decorated with lovely grooves inspired by classic Chinese rice paper lamps. The surface is made of lovely matted glass, and the light shines through this, emerging into the room as a gentle and comfortable glow. As always, Danish brand New Works is focused on bringing together old and new, bridging the gap between design and art. They celebrate the proud Nordic design tradition while challenging our definition of ‘a Danish lamp’. Lantern was designed by the award-winning duo Anderssen & Voll, who have designed numerous innovative objects for use in interior design since 2009, including the iconic Lantern collection in all its lovely shapes and versions.
