VL45 Radiohus hanging light, Ø 18 cm, yellow - Louis Poulsen

The VL45 Radiohus pendant light, Ø175, Brass/Glossy Pale Yellow, by Louis Poulsen is an elegant pendant light that combines classic design with modern functionality. Designed by the Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in the late 1930s, the light emits an even, diffused and soft glow that creates a cosy atmosphere in any room.
The pendant light is crafted from four layers of handblown opal glass, ensuring high quality and a beautiful, even distribution of light. The new, elegant pale yellow finish, combined with a glossy white interior, provides warm and inviting lighting. The open underside of the glass lampshade ensures that the light is gently directed downwards, making it suitable for both modern and traditional interiors.
The brass details, featuring fine, untreated hairline marks, lend the light a vintage charm that harmonises perfectly with both wood and other natural materials. Please note that the natural patina of the brass develops over time, giving the light a timeless appeal that remains stylish even as trends change. On request, the brass surface can be polished to maintain its shine.
The VL45 Radiohouse Light Ø175 pendant light is fitted with an adjustable suspension system, which allows the glass to be levelled, as its thickness may vary due to the handblown manufacturing process. With a cable length of 4 metres and a weight of 1.3 kg, this pendant light is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
This pendant light is part of a range that also includes the Ø250 size and the colours pale yellow and amber, each of which adds a special touch to the room.
