The PH 5 300 Blue is the well-known PH5 pendant light from a monochrome series launched by Louis Poulsen in 2020. To give this classic light an authentic look, it is now available with matt-finished metal lampshades in black and white, as well as with the bold ultra-blue lampshade.
It was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen in response to the constant changes in the shape and size of light sources. Regardless of the height at which the light is mounted and the light source used, the PH5 light does not cause glare. The PH5 lamp is named after its diameter of 50 centimetres. The smaller version, with a diameter of 30 centimetres, was launched in 2017 and given the name PH 5 300.
