Designed by Verner Panton in 1971, Panthella has achieved icon status with its organic form and functionality. This small, portable version has a diameter of 160 mm and weighs only 0.5 kg, making it perfect for moving around the home. The metallised brass detail and white hemispherical lampshade create a stylish illumination that directs light downwards and reflects it evenly from the trumpet-shaped base. With a built-in 2.5 W LED light source and a colour temperature of 2700 Kelvin, the lamp delivers a warm, pleasant light. It is rechargeable and has an IP44 rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Panthella 160 Portable combines classic design with modern technology, adding a unique atmosphere to any room.
In celebration of Louis Poulsen's 150th anniversary, they have launched a number of unique special editions of design icons from Poul Henningsen and Arne Jacobsen, including the AJ Mini Table Lamp, PH 5 Pendant, Panthella Portable, PH Snowball and PH Artichoke Pendant in sizes Ø480 and Ø600. All anniversary versions come in a unique Matt White/Pale Rose color combination with beautiful polished brass details that will patina over time, giving the lamp its own unique character. The anniversary lamps are available exclusively in 2024 and come in a limited batch - PH Artichoke is only available in 300 units in both sizes with an individual number engraved on the 5th leaf. PH Snowball is only available in 600 units globally, 300 of which are in Europe. Each piece comes with a unique number from 1-300 and is engraved with the text "Europe", which is discreetly placed on the 4th shade.
