Original 1227 Brass Desk Lamp, Jet Black – Anglepoise

The Original 1227 Brass Table Lamp in Jet Black was first designed back in 1935, yet its timeless design remains relevant in interiors to this day. The unique spring mechanism gives the light ultimate flexibility and perfect balance, whilst allowing the adjustable lampshade to be swivelled in any direction.
The glossy black finish gives the light an exclusive look, complemented by a black fabric cable. Both the lampshade and the rods are made of lightweight aluminium and feature durable chrome details. The heavy cast-iron base with steel laminate ensures excellent stability.
The original 1227 series began with the desk lamp, which is regarded as the archetype of Anglepoise lights and continues to set the standard for many other lights. Today, the lamp is available as a floor, wall, table and ceiling light. The entire series has a classic look that enhances any living or working environment.
