The Melt Portable Table Lamp Black is a neat and practical addition to the beautiful Melt series from Tom Dixon. The idea behind the series was to create a "perfectly imperfect" design. This is evident in the fluid, asymmetrical shape of the lamp, which gives it an organic and naturalistic look. The lamp is manufactured using a method called Vacuum-metalisation, which gives the lamp its unique, dynamic appearance. When switched off, the shade surface takes on a mirror-like appearance, so you can enjoy this piece of art from morning to night, while the switched-on lamp appears like a molten ball of fire.
This model is wirelessly designed and therefore suitable for carrying around in different rooms or outside on the terrace. The built-in LED light source can shine for up to 10 hours before the next charge
