Le Corbusier was an early admirer of the Lampe Gras’s modern design and incorporated the lights into his projects. Bernard-Albin Gras’s visionary design has stood the test of time and remains a classic of lighting design to this day.

The raw copper is initially supplied untreated and without a patina. Over time, the surface oxidises due to exposure to air, moisture and environmental factors, developing a unique patina. This naturally alters the light’s appearance, making each piece unique.
