ITT360 Wall Light 1000, gold, borosilicate glass - DCW

The ITT360 LED light, made of borosilicate glass with a length of 100 cm and featuring a brass mesh grille at both ends, can be mounted as a wall light or used as a hanging light thanks to a special accessory. It is supplied with an external LED driver. The light source (LED on an aluminium profile) is housed in a long, satin-finished tube and emits light 360° all around the entire length of the tube, with the brass mesh on both sides creating a special lighting effect. Thanks to their IP code of IP65, the lights in the ITT 360 series are also suitable for bathrooms and even for outdoor use, emitting a pleasant warm white light.

The design is by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost.

A defining feature for the designers and also for the ITT series of lights is the material mesh, a flexible material with texture, whose characteristic is to be and not to be. Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost have captured, manipulated and shaped this mesh, inserting it into the glass tubes and sometimes even attaching it to the interiors of the light fittings to create the thousands of original and powerful lights that illuminate the National Library of France day and night.
