Grass M Green Pendant Light - Forestier

The Grass M Green pendant light is a beautiful lighting collection with a uniform and cohesive design. The range comprises wall lamps, table lamps, floor lamps and pendant lights in various sizes and colours. What they all have in common is the beautifully woven lampshade made from rattan and abaca, a species of banana tree native to the Philippines, known for its strong plant fibres, which are used in the manufacture of ropes and cordage. The hard-wearing material and the tight weave give the lampshade a firm, almost curved appearance, which beautifully combines the potential of the natural material with skilful and well-executed design craftsmanship.

The larger versions of the light feature a wide, flat lampshade and are therefore fitted with a diffuser that shields the traditional light bulb, thus preventing the light source from causing glare. This allows the light to shine gently and pleasantly in all directions. At the same time, the extra-wide lampshade ensures a diffused light outlet to illuminate the surroundings effectively.
