The Ginger 20M Portable Brushed Brass table lamp was designed by Joan Gaspar as a tribute to the drummer Ginger Baker of the 1960s British band Cream. Wood is a difficult material to work with, a challenge that the Ginger collection overcomes with artistic perfection.
Layers of wood and paper are pressed together under high pressure to create a laminate that is almost entirely flat. The result is a lampshade that is just 4 mm thick – white on the inside and finished with a high-quality wood surface on the outside. You get a lampshade that emits indirect light, subtly illuminating the room.
