The Ginger 20 C wall/ceiling light in Wenge-Wenge was designed by Joan Gaspar as a tribute to the drummer Ginger Baker of the British 1960s band Cream. Wood is a material that is difficult to shape, but this is a challenge that the Ginger collection masters to artistic perfection.
Sheets of wood and paper are pressed together under high pressure, creating a laminate that is almost entirely flat. The result is a lampshade just 4 mm thick – with a white interior and a high-quality wooden exterior. You get a lampshade that emits indirect light, which discreetly illuminates the room.
