Flowerpot VP4 designer table lamp: A classic by Verner Panton from 1969

During the Flower Power era of the late 1960s, the Danish architect and designer Verner Panton designed a series of lights called Flowerpot – a name that deliberately reflects the spirit of that turbulent era. The series symbolises a new beginning, an exploration of new forms and the courage to break with design conventions.

The VP4 table lamp impresses with its simple yet sophisticated design, which has played a key role in establishing its status as a design classic. The lampshade consists of two perfectly matched hemispheres that produce a pleasant, glare-free light. Thanks to the E27 socket, the lamp can be flexibly fitted with a variety of bulbs.
