The light source comes from an LED module located under the upper part of the lamp. The LED has a warm white light and is an energy-saving alternative to the ordinary light bulb. The light shines directly downwards and spreads out to different sides for a soft but effective glow. As the light is directed downwards, it does not dazzle from normal walking height.
