Paolo Rizzatto has designed a wealth of unforgettable lamps - but one that is truly recognisable is the iconic 265. The wall light with the counterweight and large swivelling track is a true classic for fans of iconic Italian designs - but many may have been reluctant to invest in a 265 as the original version is enormously large.
That's why Flos is now introducing the 1973 lamp in a completely new form factor: small. The new 265 now measures one and a half metres on the swing arm, so it's still big - but not nearly as big as the original, which measured over two metres.
