Tom Rossau

Tom Rossau is a self-taught designer who started his career in the basement of his parents' house in Fårevejle, Denmark. In the beginning, LEGO and all kinds of available materials were used, but soon a direction took shape and the production of leather clothing was underway. Rossau designed and sewed it himself, which led to the opening of a store in 1997 in Copenhagen.
In 2004, there was a shift in material choice as wood veneer made its arrival. Initially, the lamps were only available through the store in Istedgade, but from 2006, when TR4-TR7 was introduced to the general public at Copenhagen Furniture Fair, something suddenly happened. Later, the TR7 lamp received the Audience Favorite Award award.
There have been growing pains for Tom Rossau, but the core and soul of the company is still maintained, and this can be boiled down to one word: Design.
