The lovely TUI Pendant Ø68 Bamboo is an incredible way to sum up David Trubridge’s background and beliefs. It is made using sustainable bamboo and is delivered flat-packed in a small box to reduce the lamp’s environmental impact. It is designed and shaped in a way that clearly reflects David Trubridge’s impeccable understanding of and abilities within wood design and craftsmanship—and it is named after and inspired by a New Zealand bird with which the product shares its name.
The lamp has the same shape as the nectar-loving Tui bird, which is famous for its lovely and unique song. The elegant wooden shape brings to mind the bird’s body and the light source its heart.
