The Reed Hat Nameplate 15X30CM Black from Light-Point not only adds a timeless elegance to the wide range, but also provides a 100% Danish-produced stamping in the pedigree. When it is also Danish designed, does that make it a 110% Danish lamp?
These are part of the range of accessories that give the Rørhat wall lamps new life as bedside lamps with different heights and the possibility of hanging on one or two sides, as a lamp mounted on a back plate for effect or with a nameplate or a number plate underneath. Cane Hat Nameplate 15X30CM Black undergoes a, nowadays, rather untraditional production process as it is the now rare craft of plumbing that was pulled out of the hat. It is the careful soldering of the metal that requires the expertise of a tinsmith.
The beautiful and simple semicircle is available in an exciting range of colours and materials. Choose from the rustic and simple ones in black, white, stainless steel or galvanised, or put your feet up and dance to the music with the beautiful raw copper versions or try one of the polished ones in brass, chrome or copper.
The Tube Hat lights have an IP rating of 23, which means:
2= Protected against solid objects with a diameter of 12.5 mm or more. And protected against touching dangerous parts with a finger and 3= Protected against rain.
There are different nameplates for the Pipe Hat to personalise the entrance area, but there are also exciting options for mounting the lamp. The Tube Hat can be mounted directly on the wall or on a special plate that helps to emphasise the shape and choice of material. If the lamp is to be used as a bedside lamp or elsewhere without masonry for hanging, there are various stands that turn it into a bollard.
The interior of the Rørhat is also flexible, where you can choose between the classic G23 socket often seen in project lamps, or try the brand new LED version, which with its only 10.5W is extremely lenient on electricity consumption. The more sensible Germans will probably opt for the E14 version, which with its flexible socket opens up a wide range of light sources and provides long-term protection for the lamp for many possibilities for later changes.
