The Maman pendant light is a modern interpretation of the classic chandelier – an unusual pendant light that allows you to add your own personal touch to your interior design. The light’s canopy features 14 cables, each 4 metres long, with the light sources at the ends. Each cable is attached separately to the ceiling, exactly where you wish to position it – in a larger or smaller cluster, arranged either high or low. It makes a striking feature above the dining table, in a hallway with high ceilings or above the kitchen island, where it casts a pleasantly even light as required.
The light is named ‘Maman’ after the 9-metre-high bronze sculpture in Ottawa, Canada, which depicts a spider. Like the Maman pendant light, the sculpture has long arms extending out from its body.
