The origins of Lampe Gras date back to 1922, when Bernard-Albin Gras developed his first designs. Originally intended for offices and industrial spaces, the collection continues to impress to this day with its simple, robust and ergonomic design. The basic construction requires no screws or welded joints.

Le Corbusier, too, was an early admirer of the Lampe Gras’s modern design and incorporated the lights into his projects. In particular, the well-thought-out details and the minimalist design language define the collection’s unmistakable character.

The 304SW is designed for flush-mounted installation on a wall with a switch. Alternatively, the model is available as the 304 without a switch or as the 304CA with a cable for connection to a power point.
