The modern L 800 iHF SC LED outdoor wall light is a smart downlight designed to provide reliable lighting for house entrances and façades. It is part of the STEINEL Connected Lighting series and is fitted with a concealed high-frequency sensor. The high-quality aluminium housing makes the light particularly robust and resistant to wind and weather.

The smart sensor automatically switches on the light when movement is detected. It does this by emitting high-frequency electromagnetic waves and analysing their echo. If a change is detected – for example, a person entering the detection range – the light switches on reliably, thereby enhancing outdoor security.

Using the free STEINEL Connect app for iOS and Android, the light can be conveniently controlled via Bluetooth using a smartphone or tablet. In addition to the basic settings, practical functions such as an extended range setting, the networking of multiple lights or a twilight setting via teach-in are available.
