The Kina pendant light is an incredible masterpiece by david trubridge. It is inspired by the shape of local sea urchins, which are often washed up on the shores of New Zealand. Here, sea urchins are also known as ‘Kina’, from which the pendant light takes its name.
It is not only through the light’s design that the designer expresses his love of nature. His respect for nature has also been demonstrated in relation to the creative process, production, logistics, distribution and much more.
