GT6 Pendant Light, Black – Santa & Cole

The GT6 Black pendant light features a unique lampshade made from hand-woven cotton yarn, with a design that is both classic and dramatic. When switched on, the light casts a warm, cosy glow over the room, whilst when switched off, it serves as a sculptural feature within the interior. At the bottom edge of the lampshade is a PVC panel which both conceals the light source and ensures an even, glare-free light. Hang it above the dining table, where it will illuminate your gathering place and cast a diffused light into the room.
The lampshade was developed as an alternative to the use of cardboard, methacrylates and other existing fabric shades. The forgotten craft hidden behind the cotton ribbons resurfaced in 1994 when the GT5 pendant light was designed. The pendant light was the first in a series of lights that now comprises a pendant light, a table lamp and a floor lamp.
Thanks to the lightweight material, the cable can easily support the weight of the light – no wire is required. A 3-metre-long fabric cable is included with the light, but a canopy is not.
The pendant light is available in the shop in two different sizes: the GT6 pendant light with a diameter of 45 cm and the GT5 pendant light with a diameter of 62 cm.
