Vipp Wall Sconces: Industrial Heritage, Soft Light

It all started with a pedal bin for a hair salon in Copenhagen. Today it’s on display at MoMA, and the philosophy behind it also shapes Vipp’s wall lamps: authentic materials, clean lines, built to last.

The collection was created as a response to rigid wall lighting. Instead of simply placing a light on the wall, Vipp brings movement into the space. Swivel arms and rotating heads direct the light exactly where you need it: toward the bed, over the reading chair, onto the desk. Perforated shades and frosted glass create a soft, gently diffused glow that gives rooms a calm and inviting atmosphere.

The wall sconces are available in various sizes, ranging from the spacious model with a long arm to the compact version for narrow niches. In addition, there's the small wall spotlight, which blends seamlessly into every room—from the hallway through the kitchen to the bathroom—in white, black, or warm gray.

All models share the same design language: powder-coated metal, precise details, and a five-year warranty. It is Scandinavian design that doesn't need to be flashy to make an impact—functional in everyday life and timeless in its expression.

Less gesture. More light.
