Panthella Originals: The Floor Lamp Returns
In celebration of Verner Panton's 100th birthday, Louis Poulsen brings back one of his most famous lamps: the Panthella Floor Lamp from the Originals Collection.
The Panthella was designed in 1971 and remains a design icon to this day. Its clever feature: both the shade and the base act as reflectors. The result is a glare-free, soft light that gently envelops spaces, warm, atmospheric, and at the same time sculptural.
The floor lamp appears in the original opal colors of the 1970s, including orange, green, red, brown, and blue-gray, combined with a high-gloss chrome stand. The characteristic mushroom silhouette remains unchanged: soft, geometric, and distinctive. A design that is instantly recognizable and yet surprisingly modern.

Imagine how the evening begins: you turn on the Panthella, and its light covers the wall, sofa, and favorite book like a warm veil. The room transforms, along with the feeling of coming home. This design classic is more than a lamp. It is a piece of history, a piece of joy, just waiting to conquer your home.
Panton was also a master of staging. He often designed his advertisements with family and friends as models. The original campaign for the Panthella Floor from the 70s shows a close friend against a contrast of dark hair and orange, a simple composition that captures Panton's intuitive playfulness.
Bring this piece of design history into your home.
Next to the sofa, in the reading corner, or as an eye-catcher in the living room: wherever the Panthella stands, the space becomes a place with character.
