The W1 pendant light is better known as the workshop light, designed by A. Wedel-Madsen in 1951. This iconic light was originally designed for workshops, where it hung from the ceiling and provided excellent lighting for work. Even today, it can still be found in workshops, schools and the hospitality industry, whilst also having found its way into private homes.
