Clam Pendant Ø550 Opal/Brass - Fritz Hansen

Clam Pendant Ø550 was designed in connection with the Danish series ‘Danmarks Næste Klassiker’ (Denmark’s Next Classic). The designers behind the lamp are the duo Ahm&Lund, also known as Isabel and Signe. They created the lamp with inspiration from shells in nature – hence the name ‘Musling’, which is Danish word for ‘clam’. Inside, the lamp hides a pearl of its own: the light.
The height of the lowest shell can be adjusted to widen or minimise the gap between the two lampshades. When the lamp is completely closed, it shines a generally soft glow into the room while a stronger light can be achieved by opening the shells. The pendant is designed so that its light doesn’t blind when you open it, making it the ideal fit for dining room lighting.
The shells are made from opal glass, ensuring a lovely exclusive look paired with brass details. Perfect for adding a lovely light and a touch of personality to your décor.
