During the design process the lamp evolved through a series of different shapes, resulting in Caravaggio’s softly feminine lines. The depth of the shade ensures that the pendant doesn’t create glare regardless of where you place it. Furthermore, Caravaggio Read is equipped with small slits in the top of the lampshade to ensure an upward-facing light.
The Caravaggio Read wall lamp in White is delivered with two different mounting brackets. The large one can be mounted over a socket, so the lamp has no visible wiring, whereas the small one includes a cable. The switch is mounted under the bracket to ensure that it is discreet yet easily accessible.
